Forlink Software Corp. Inc. today announced that it has launched an ASP (Application Service Provider) service: For-Online, which provides IT services over Internet to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in China.

Forlink will deliver enterprise applications and services to small and medium-sized Chinese companies from a centrally managed facility. The applications include many Forlink flagship products, such as ForRMS (Resources Management System), For-Mail (E-mail system), For-ISMG (Internet Short Message Gateway), and other Web-related applications. This service is becoming increasingly attractive to companies outside the IT management industry that are resource constrained or simply want to focus on their core competency.

According to China's State Economic and Trade Commission, the number of registered Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in China has exceeded 8 million, and both the industrial output and export volume of these enterprises account for 60 percent of China's total.
