Kylin, a domestically-made Chinese server operation system that was jointly designed and developed by the National Defense Technology University, China Software Corporation and Lenovo, has now begun to be actively promoted.
The system's designers are even touting Kylin as being powerful enough to compete with Windows, Linux and Unix, while at the same time being able to "break the hegemony and control of foreign countries over China's information infrastructure."
In the coming days, Lenovo will work with the National Defense Technology University to publicize and promote the system.
