Alibaba has incorporated its 13 offices across the country into three subsidiary companies, namely Guangdong Company, Shanghai Company and Zhejiang Company.

Apart from the usual role as a service provider for domestic exporters, each of the three will carry out trade credit service in their respective regions.

Jack Ma, founder and CEO of Alibaba, says that Alibaba owns more than 1000 member enterprises, of which about one-sixth are from the Guangdong area and the income from Guangdong also accounted for 25% of the company's total revenue last year.

Jack Ma disclosed to local media that by the end of this month, Alibaba will reach agreements with Yahoo (YHOO) America to improve the marketing in the international market.

The company will also open branches in coastal areas such as Fujian, Jiangsu and Shandong following the establishment of the above three subsidiaries.

Jack Ma also says he does not expect the Chinese tax authorities will start to impose taxes on e-commerce transactions in the next year.
