Think Partnership (THK) has commenced operations in Asia with the opening of an office in Hong Kong.
Think Partnership's new Hong Kong office is listed under the name, MarketSmart Interactive Asia/Pacific. Jim Banks, president and CEO of Web Diversity, a newly acquired unit of THK, will serve as president of operations for the new MarketSmart Interactive Asia-Pacific office.
In addition to setting the stage for expansion of search engine marketing operations for the company's US-based MarketSmart Interactive and UK-based Web Diversity operations, the facility will serve as a portal to new business throughout the Asia-Pacific region for Think Partnership's entire family of interactive advertising companies and services.
"Hong Kong is a leading business center for multinationals operating in Asia-Pacific and was an obvious choice for our first sales office for this region" said THK President and interim Chief Executive Officer Scott P. Mitchell, who officiated at the company's launch. "We believe that opening up this exciting new market and leveraging our interactive marketing technologies, methodologies, and knowledge represents a significant opportunity for revenue growth and margin expansion."
"A Hong Kong office strategically positions THK to lead in the Internet marketing space in vast areas of Asia that have demonstrated tremendous growth potential," Banks stated. "This is a major business hub for us in Asia."
Banks and his Hong Kong team will be working with search marketing expert, Mike Grehan, of THK's UK-based Smart Interactive operation to expand Think Partnership's search marketing sales in both Europe and Asian countries like China.
