Hurray (HRAY) has been awarded two separate contracts by China Unicom Guangdong and Shaanxi provinces to upgrade their provincial Wap portal systems, utilizing the company's proprietary service provisioning and management software VASPro.
According to the contracts, existing VASPro software platforms in the two provinces will be upgraded to support approximately 1.4 million and 0.6 million concurrent users respectively.
Commenting on this event, Hurray's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, QD Wang, said, "We are pleased to receive these two software contracts, despite their relatively small size. After delays for almost a year, we believe these contracts marked a pickup in mobile operators' activities to expand capacity on their wireless data infrastructure to accommodate continued user growth."
