Co-Create Corporation has signed with domestic mainstream computer hardware manufacturer Digital China to pre-install Co-Create's Linux software on all the computer products of Digital China.
The signing between the two is expected to help upgrade China's national software and hardware products level and promote their applications within the industry.
The OEM market in China has seen great changes since April 2006 when China's Ministry of Information Industry, National Copyright Administration of China, Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Finance jointly released the circular on the pre-installation of legal operating systems on computers. Since then, each computer manufacturer, both at home and abroad, have been busy seeking cooperation with OEMs to explore bigger sales spaces for their products in the domestic China market.
Digital China is a high-tech enterprise engaged in electronic information products production. For Co-Create, this is another major breakthrough since it signed with a computer manufacturer named Xinlan in August 2006.
Beijing Co-Create Open Source Software Company, founded in March 2001, is an innovative, Beijing-based software company specializing in development, production and application of Linux and cross-platform office suites. The company is sponsored by a consortium of Chinese IT companies.
