A representative from the Chinese telecom operator China Telecom has revealed that the company has stored seven million 3G mobile phones, covering over 60 types of 20 brands, for the launch of a summer promotion to entice Chinese consumers to buy new phones.
China Telecom will reportedly start the large-scale promotion before August 31, 2010, collaborating with its national and regional distributors, sales channels, and mobile phone makers, including Samsung, LG, Nokia, Huawei, ZTE, Coolpad, K-Touch, and Hisense.
