Israeli information technology outsourcing service provider Matrix announced that they have opened a mobile application development center in Changzhou, Jiangsu.
The new development center will focus on mobile application development for Chinese and worldwide customers. The company said they plan to open more research and development centers in China.
The new development center is a joint-invested project of Matrix and PTL Group. Headquartered in China, PTL Group is a company holding by Israeli shareholders and it is the partner of Matrix and John Bryce, a training company under Matrix, in China.
Zvi Shalgo, chief executive officer of PTL Group and chairman of the Israeli Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, told local media that more and more Israeli and international enterprises are opening research and development centers in China to provide customized products to this marketplace. This can shorten the period of entering the market, which improves competitive advantages.
Apart from the newly opened Matrix global development center, PTL Group expects to open three additional research and development centers for Israeli companies which operate businesses in China.
