Apple's financial report for the fourth financial quarter ended September 28, 2013, stated that the company made operating revenue of USD5.733 billion in Greater China.
According to the report, the company realized operating revenue of USD5.733 billion in Greater China during the fourth financial quarter, marking a year-on-year increase of 6% from USD5.427 billion in the same period of last year. It was also a quarter-on-quarter increase of 24% from USD4.641 billion in the third financial quarter of 2013.
Apple said that during the fourth financial quarter of 2013, the company made revenue of USD5.733 billion in China and USD3.341 billion in Japan. The numbers are still small compared with its USD13.941 billion revenue from America. However, the Chinese market saw a quarter-on-quarter increase of 24%, while the Japanese market saw a quarter-on-quarter increase of 31%.
For the entire financial year of 2013, Apple's net operating revenue reached USD170.91 billion, a year-on-year increase of 9.2%; while its net profit was USD37.037 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 11.3%.
