China Telecom revealed to Chinese local media that the company has set up a subsidiary in France.

At the same time, this Chinese telecom operator formally launched its international mobile virtual service CTExcelbiz in the country.

CTExcelbiz is a mobile virtual communication service specially designed for Chinese people in foreign countries. They can subscribe this service at China Telecom's service sites or via the Internet to enjoy long-distance calls to China or local roaming calls at prices almost the same as local fees.

This is not the first time for China Telecom to enter an overseas mobile communications market. In 2012, the company cooperated with EverythingEverywhere in the launch of CTExcelbiz in U.K., making it the first Chinese telecom operator to provide mobile virtual service abroad.
