Chinese Internet services provider Xunlei announced that Kingsoft's senior vice president Zou Tao will replace Zhang Hongjiang to be Xunlei's new director.
Meanwhile, current director Zhang will retire and no longer be the director of the company. Both personnel changes were effective from December 1, 2016.
Zou Shenglong, chairman and chief executive officer of Xunlei, said that they appreciate the years of contribution of Zhang and wish him all the best in the future. At the same time, they welcome the arrival of Zou. They believe Zou's rich experience and professional background will bring huge value to Xunlei.
Zhang is currently Kingsoft's executive director and chief executive officer and he has been Xunlei's director since the IPO of the company. In September 2016, Kingsoft announced that Zhang will retire on December 1, 2016 and Zou will replace him as CEO of the group.
Zou has been working for Kingsoft for nearly 20 years and he is currently Kingsoft's senior vice president and executive director as well as Season's CEO and director. Zou is responsible for Season's overall management, including online game research and development and decision making for Kingsoft's gaming business unit.
