Chinese search engine company Baidu announced that they have reached a strategic deal with Visual China Group and the cooperation includes picture, video and music resources.

Baidu said that the strategic cooperation covers Baidu's various products and it aims to provide the best-quality content resources to users, content creators, and commercial advertisers.

isual China's content resources such as quality photos will be available for Baidu's full lines of products, including photo search, Baijiahao, Baidu Baike, Baidu Zhidao, Baidu Tieba, and Baidu's native business promotion unit.

In addition, Baidu will provide its cloud technologies to Visual China. Combining Baidu's cloud basic abilities and AR technologies with Visual China's big data accumulation, the two parties aim to further improve image processing abilities and delivery efficiency.

Commenting on the cooperation, Baidu's vice president Lu Fubin said that quality contents have become scarce resources for the Internet industry. The cooperation between Baidu and Visual China will offer a better-quality industrial ecology for content creators and it will bring more convenient content acquisition experience to users.

Full financial terms of the deal were not released.
