According to information from JD, due to personal and family reasons, JD Group's executive vice president and chief public affairs officer Lan Ye will resign, effective on May 31, 2019.
Public files show that Lan Joined JD in 2012 and he previously worked as chief marketing officer. In August 2015, he was appointed chief public affairs officer of JD Group, leading JD's important operation units such as public affairs unit.
At the end of December 2018, JD implemented subversive organizational restructuring and the company's personnel changes have never stopped since then. At present, its personnel changes are mainly in the management level.
On March 15, 2019, JD Group's chief technology officer Zhang Chenyi announced that starting from June 30, 2019, he would work as group consultant and no longer by CTO of JD; on March 20, JD Group's chief legal officer Long Yu resigned due to personal career development and family reasons. Lan is the third executive to leave JD.
