Chinese entrepreneur Sun Dawu was sentenced to 18 years in prison by the People’s Court of Gaobeidian, Hebei, China for eight charges including the crime of assembling a crowd to attack state agencies. The Gaobeidian City People’s Court began a public trial of Sun Dawu’s case on July 15. After the 14-day trial, the verdict was pronounced in court on Wednesday (28th).
