Sales in the company’s products segment, which includes online retail sales, increased 22.9% for the quarter ended September 30. Net income rose to 218.7 billion yuan ($34.27 billion) in the third quarter, above Wall Street’s estimates of 216.24 billion yuan, according to data from Refinitiv.
