The gay dating app Grindr is no longer available in China, apparently the victim of a government crackdown ahead of the Winter Olympics in Beijing, scheduled to begin Friday. Grindr was taken off Apple’s app store last week, the Bloomberg news service reports. Searches for it on Android platforms produce no results, although it’s unclear when it was removed from those.
