A new Chinese cyber-espionage group has been seen abusing a zero-day vulnerability in the Zimbra collaboration suite to gain access to the email inboxes of European governments and media agencies. The attacks were spotted last month by security firm Volexity, and even if the security firm notified Zimbra on December 16, the company has not yet released a patch for its product.
