A group of social media influencers who create content on TikTok have joined forces to sue the US state of Montana for banning the controversial app from January 2024. On Wednesday, 17 May, Montana’s governor Greg Gianforte signed into law the first-ever US state-level ban of the app, which claims to have more than 150 million users in the country alone.
