Microsoft China and China Financial Certification Authority have jointly announced that several Chinese banks, including China Construction Bank; Industrial and Commercial Bank of China; China Merchants Bank; and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank have achieved the seamless compatibility of their online banking systems with the Windows 7 operating system.
The full compatibility between the online bank systems and the Windows 7 system will enable these banks to provide more convenient one-stop services to consumers through Window 7's Device Stage and the upcoming online bank USB Key installation optimization program.
By adding Window 7's Device Stage function, online bank users will be able to handle some common issues, including preventing from the entry of phishing websites with the similar domain names as those of the online banks. When users insert their USB Keys to access the new-generation online banks that are compatible with Windows 7, Device Stage will display the images of the current equipment and the related information. Users can click on the images to directly enter the online banks, avoiding the troublesome steps of searching the websites.
In addition, to simplify the operating process of Chinese users, Microsoft China has raised a new "zero click" concept to realize the installations of USB Keys without any clicks. At present, the structure and design of this new service has been completed and will soon be brought into trial operation.
