ProsoftTraining today announced it will offer a China-only version of its CIW Web designer certification, through a relationship with iTOM Learning.

The new certification will be called "CIW China Web Designer" and will be released in May 2004. Under the terms of the agreement, iTOM will create the CIW China exam, and Prosoft will fulfill certificates and manage the Authorized Training Partners through its representative office in Beijing.

ProsoftTraining offers content and certifications to enable individuals to develop and validate critical Information and Communications Technology (ICT) work force skills. Prosoft has created and distributes a complete library of classroom and e-learning courses and distributes its content through its ComputerPREP division to individuals, schools, colleges, commercial training centers and corporations worldwide.

iTOM Learning is a professional company engaged with the development of education services and related investment in China. iTOM was formed to meet the requirements of IT professionals given the founders' knowledge and experience within the China educational industry. iTOM Learning cooperates with Chinese local educational organizations, creates local versions of authorized IT training courses, and provides a public electronic network service platform for IT professionals.
