HP recently announced that after operating for three years in the 3D printing sector, they finally decided to formally launch these services in the mainland Chinese market.
HP will first expand in four industries: automobile, consumer electronics, medical and health, and aerospace.
On June 13, 2017, HP formally launched its HP Jet Fusion 3D printing solution in Greater China. China's listed 3D printing company Xianlin 3D cloud printing plans to cooperate with HP to deploy customized 3D printing solutions for clients in more than 50 cities and regions in China, covering Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Nanjing, and Shanghai. Meanwhile, Wuxian 3D will also deploy HP's 3D printing solutions in its technology centers in Suzhou and Qingdao.
HP also announced that they will expand their "HP Partner First 3D Printing Professional" distributor program into Greater China and establish 3D printing demonstration and experience centers in several cities.
HP launched its HP Jet Fusion 3D printing solution in May 2016 and in December 2016, the company officially put two types of printers, HP Jet Fusion 3D 3200 and HP Jet Fusion 3D 4200, into the market. HP Jet Fusion 3D 3200 is mainly used for prototype design, while HP Jet Fusion 3D 4200 is used for fast making. Both printers are mainly used for plastic printing.
