China Telecom Online University and ZTE University have signed a strategic cooperative agreement on close cooperation in resource sharing and training sectors.
Zhang Chenshuang, general manager of China Telecom and president of China Telecom Online University, and Qiu Weizhao, vice executive director of ZTE, attended the signing ceremony last week in Beijing. According to the agreement, the two sides will implement a long-term cooperation and promise to offer preferential services and resource sharing to each other in the training sector, including lecturers' skill improvement, joint courses development, distance learning, online courses, education platform and 3G training.
As an important department for China Telecom's talents strategy, China Telecom Online University has a wealth of experience in talents training. Its cooperation with ZTE University will help China Telecom to integrate internal talent resources and establish a scientific, systematic and standard training system.
As the corporate university of ZTE, ZTE University says it has trained about 150,000 customers from more than 100 countries and regions in its 12 regional training centers around the world.
