According to information from the Chinese online home appliances store All3c.com, three Chinese TV makers of Skyworth, TCL, and Changhong have signed direct supply agreements with the website to sell their products through All3c.com's Internet channel.
For consumers, the greatest attraction of online shopping is the favorable prices. Zuo Yingjie, CEO for All3c.com, said that because of the absence of entrance fees and labor costs, the prices of appliances products sold on All3c.com would be 10% to 15% lower than those sold in appliances chain stores like Gome and Suning. At the same time, appliances makers would offer relevant distribution and after-sale services.
Zuo said prior to this, All3c.com had established a partnership with China's leading communications chain store D.Phone to develop the sales of its mobile phone and digital products. The cooperation with the three TV makers now marks All3c.com's successful extension into the flat-panel TV market, which also represented the completion of the company's deployment in the entire consumer electronics sector.
Though he did not reveal specific figures, Zuo revealed that starting from April 2008, All3c.com's monthly sales grew. As the security of online trading is further enhanced and the Internet technologies penetrate more Chinese homes, online appliances store will become an important emerging retail model.
